Enterprise project

25th April 2018
Primary Enterprise World came to school today and taught the children about budgeting in a real life context. The children were asked to build a house with £150,000. They had to work out how much money they need to build a house and consider how much they were prepared to pay for the different elements. Some children managed to build two houses with their total budget. Olivia enjoyed making a poster with her group and Dameon told Miss Robinson that he thought that everyone worked well as a team during the day. The children were also taught about government workers and how they help people in their everyday life.

''Don't spend too much money on sweets and things, save it for the future'' was Abbie's advice to the class at the end of the day.
