Pupil Parliement debating Session Jan 2020

On Wednesday 29th January the Pupil Parliament was invited to Swansfield Park School in Alnwick to have our second debating session. At our last session the children chose the topic
 
Should children be allowed to drive?
 
A Traffic Police Officer came to give us some information about his job and gave his views about children being able to drive. After doing some research we wrote our views, then we held the debate. The children enjoyed debating and listening to the other children's views. At the end of the session the children then voted and the majority of the children voted...
 
No children should not drive before they are 17.
